If I use a heavier support, or canvas, I consider them the same as an acrylic.debwardarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05225105239355671724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4248783390421236582.post-62093282561912190272010-02-09T18:35:32.571-05:002010-02-09T18:35:32.571-05:00Deb,

When you use them with lots of water as watercolors, do you have to frame the painting under glass or can you treat the painting as a regular acrylic?Christiane Kingsleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10550714224805511513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4248783390421236582.post-1908990420644965872010-02-09T12:48:01.258-05:002010-02-09T12:48:01.258-05:00Nancy - fluid acrylics are a more viscous form of ...Nancy - fluid acrylics are a more viscous form of acrylics - same pigment saturation, just more "fluid" or liquid and meant to be "watered down" (up to a ratio of 100/1). I guess they are like "craft paints on steriods!" They are professional grade. I use DaVinci; several other manufacturers also make them.
Ginny - you would not like it here today - dreary and snow falling all day (and me with a sinus headache - yippee!).
Deborah, thanks for stopping by!debwardarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05225105239355671724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4248783390421236582.post-80452888281050855802010-02-08T22:28:22.592-05:002010-02-08T22:28:22.592-05:00Very nice, I like your style.
