I did manage to get some painting finished while working on the studio rooms.
A young woman contacted me about a house commission for her parents. Seems each time they move, they have a small watercolor of their home commissioned.
Even though she contacted me on the internet, she said my name was familiar. After talking with her, we found out we know people in common! Small world!
This is a very small painting, especially for me - the final framed area will measure only 6 in. x 10 in. I painted it slightly larger so there will be some "wiggle room" for the framer.
With her directions on color - very hard to tell from the photograph I was given - I made some paint color choices and texted them to her for her mother's selection.
Then I began working on the sky, foreground, trees and shrubs.
After a couple of emails and slight changes to some of the colors, here is the completed painting.
I hope her parents are happy with the result.

Oh Deb this is wonderful and I am sure your client will love it. That has to be one of the hardest challenges trying to meet someone's expectations. You certainly did a beautiful job. Hugs!
I agree, I'm sure they will love it. Well done!
