VASE AND TEAPOT - 1

In between painting walls and ceilings (!) I did manage to get some "fine art" painting squeezed in.

For years I have been collecting objects, fabric and decorative paper as inspiration for paintings.  Since I really like to do these simple still lifes, I decided to go "back to my roots" so to speak and try doing a few more of these.

Here is the set up for this painting.

Then I got a close up of the teapot and vase for more detail.

I really like that closeup version and know you'll do a great job with it - love your still lifes using the fabric (I see that lace curtain in the bg!!) and, well, blue is great always!! ha ha
