At this time of year, it seems we all tend to look back at our accomplishments (or lack thereof!), so, here is a recap.
In 2012, I:
- was elected President of the Greater Cincinnati Watercolor Society
- taught series of classes for the Cincinnati Recreation Commission
- was asked to juror a local art show
My artwork was accepted into:
- the Cincinnati Woman’s Art Club 119th Juried Exhibit
- the Georgia Watercolor Society National Juried Show and the Annual Members’ Show
- the Rising Sun Juried Art Exhibitions – both Spring (2nd place award) and Fall
- the ViewPoint 44th Annual National Juried Exhibit
- the Ohio Watercolor Society 35th Annual Juried Exhibition – and the OWS Traveling show (State of Ohio)
- the National Watercolor Society 92nd Annual Exhibit – and the NWS Traveling show (USA) – and my image was used for the show postcard
Since it seems that we have survived the Mayan Apocalypse, and we may still be around for a while, I guess resolutions are in order again!
The only things I can think of for myself (that I’m liable to keep!) are to keep trying to improve in my art and to set up a blog posting schedule of twice a week - I have neglected my blog lately. Time will tell if I succeed in these lofty endeavors!
I hope 2013 turns out to be a good year for all of you – to your health, happiness and success this year.
