Another in my little series of fruits and veggies!
I decided to use lighter pastels for the drawing, instead of charcoal on this one.

I am really enjoying your pastel series.
Happy 2013.

For some reason, I never understood the charcoal underdrawing - I wondered if it would make the colors muddy, etc. I'll be interested to see this one - it's already cleaner and brighter, to me :) Of course, I loved your other ones, too. Guess I just need to get out my own pastels and give them a try!! So many materials, so little time :)

Hi Christiane - Thanks - and I'm enjoying your statue series! Good luck to you in 2013.
Thanks Vicki - I'm enjoying your animals - amazing how lifelike they are.
Rhonda - I don't know about the charcoal either??? I just thought these needed a lighter drawing since the end colors would be light - I'm just doing what seems right to me. Amen to so little time!
