RETREAT PAINTING - PART 2


Once the lace was pretty much complete I added shadows in the drape of the lace, a first wash on the pears and began working on the china.

Then a second wash of color on the fruit.

That lacework is just amazing - there was an artist who just won a BP Portrait Travel Award and her forte is lace in clothing - I'll send you the link so you can see it (of course, she works in oils, not watercolor).
