WINTER IN SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA!

Just a quick snapshot of the reason my workshop was cancelled this weekend!

On the left is part of our driveway - my husband wanted me to take this photo, since he thought it was especially pretty - and told me to "blog it"!

Once again I've got several winter scenes; now if I could just paint some of them!

Gary - if you see these - how does this compare to Wyoming?????

Deb, it is a very pretty scene...less pretty when you have to drive somewhere. In Ottawa, Canada, where I live, we used to have very hard winters...this year, there is very little snow.

Hope your dug out by now. Be just in time for Tuesdays snow day (smile) Went down to the river on Saturday. Makes it look like the trees have foliage doesn't it. Stay warm Lady!

Christiane - This year we are getting snow late. This morning when I went out the sky was bright blue, sun shining and I was almost blinded! Made me think of the song "Winter Wonderland" - since "in the lanes snow was glistening . . a beautiful sight".
Sonya - Yep - we are all plowed out and awaiting the next snowfall - which my hubby tells me will be 5+ inches! Guess we artists will just have to stay inside and PAINT!!!
