Never too many colors, if that's what you need to make a painting as lovely as this. It's wonderful, Deb.
I love those labels, Deb!!! I don't think there's too many colours - you've got them all working together beautifully. I don't understand that limited palette idea either. ;)
Your painting is beautyful. I really like these cans, and your colours too. You are very talented.
Greetings from Norway.
IF YOU DIDN'T USE THAT MANY COLORS IT WOULDN'T HAVE TURNED OUT AS NICE AS IT DID. THANKS FOR SHARING.

Deb, this is stunning in its detail! I loved seeing your process, too.
Regarding quin gold, I can't seem to do any painting without that color somewhere in it. I saw a demo by Anne Alleman and she said "I swear if they stop making quin gold I will stop painting"! I am a great fan of all of the quin colors, but especially quin gold and quin burnt orange (I paint a lot of Southwest scenes).
Terrific painting! Thanks for listing your colors. I can't seem to limit my palette either even though I have tried several times. I just love all of those DS colors!
A more contemporary version of a Warhol with lots more to enjoy. Usually I prefer a more restricted palette, but all these colours work so well together Debs.
Carol, Deb, Laila, Granny, Vicki - here's to color, and lots of it! (And I'm sure Daniel Smith Co. is cheering us on, too!!!)
Susan - we must be sisters - quin. gold is a MUST in every painting. I'll have to look up Anne Alleman, she sounds like my kinda gal!
Joan, I laughed at the Warhol reference! Here's to UNrestricted!
Deb, love those labels. Great job on the painting. I'm in agreement with whatever it takes to get a painting completed to the artist's satisfaction. :)
Can you have too many colors?! LOL! Beautiful! Very nostalgic!
Deb, that is a limited palette - all the pigments are by Daniel Smith, right? ha ha Looking fantastic!!!
Kimberly - NOPE!
Rhonda - "limited to Daniel Smith" - I hadn't thought of that LOL!
