PRETTY IN PINK - MODEL A

My husband and I were on a trip and were somewhere in the North Carolina mountains when he hit the brakes and asked me if he should turn around (a miracle, since his car never seems able to make a U-turn!). He had spotted an old Ford in the weeds beside an old run down shack.
This old truck had probably been brown in its early days, but had faded out to a rosy pink. I think it made for a great painting, thanks to my husband!

Now that's a man who supports your art - and your crazy artist ways :) Good for you and I like the rosy color on this! Looks like a real girly car...but probably didn't run very well.

I am so enjoying seeing these paintings of old cars/trucks. They are so rich in untold stories.

Vicki - there is something about old things - I love history, and every object has a history - just with they could tell us their story!
Rhonda - he has his moments! I think it got its rosy glow from rust!!!
