CAT TAILS

I have continued working on this by adding to the reeds and, as noted, will have to do a bit more to cover all of the water spots showing through the reeds, but it’s getting there.

This is an exciting painting to me. I love the vertical leaves and the changing colors. Looking forward to the completion.... The water spots as to the image, I like them.

Thanks for your comments. I will be finishing this soon - but I've got some other "starts" in the works, too!

Looking good, Deb. What made you do it on canvas instead of paper? Just curious. Love the single puff and the rhythm of the leaves curving around.

Boy, the lace at the bottom of the painting looks so real! :-)

Thanks Vicki!
Rhonda - wanted to show various supports - just decided to use canvas for this one.
Kathy - has anyone ever told you that you are a "smart aleck"!!! ;-)
