DAFFODILS

Here is a start of daffodils and fruit on canvas using fluid acrylic.

As you can see, just began with a light wash of color and some of it bled around - which is fine with me!

I love it when you combine yellows with that beautiful blue. I am looking forward to the progress pictures - I know that this painting will look great!

When painting on canvas with fluid acrylics, do you use the paint as you would normally with acrylics and without any water?

Thanks Christiane - I use water.

A great start, Deb, you can't go wrong with blues and yellows but, um...when are you going to paint those lemons from Shaker Village? Hmmm??

Looking forward to seeing your progress on this painting Deb. I enjoyed the photo tour through your part of the country too. Beautiful place.

Nice watercolor effect. Acrylic is so flexible. Nice control.

Rhonda - soon, I hope!
Ann - glad you enjoyed my travelogue! My husband was disappointed not too many comments about that, so he'll be glad to see yours!
Stan - Welcome!! Hope you return!! I checked out your work and especially like the "old" work, very stylized! I do like the fluid acrylics very much and you are right, they are very flexible.
