TEAPOT AND ORB - 4

After getting some color onto the roses I switched over to the teapot and the new Silver Black Velvet round – wow, a big difference! After all my whining in the previous posts, I think I’m falling in love – with a brush! It is small and pointy and I am able to paint in the small spaces of blue on the teapot handily. It’s also great on the rose leaves which I’ve started.

Score one for me: Painting 1, Deb 1

Celui-ci avance d'une manière formidable... Quelle dextérité...
J'ai vraiment envie d'en voir davantage...
Gros bisous

The teapot looks amazing already!

It looks like, to me, that you're whipping this painting into shape, in spite of the small problems.

Martine's translation: The latter advance, with a great way ... What dexterity ... I really want to see more (kinda loses something in translation!) But it's certainly complimentary and I thank you for that - gros bisous aussi!!
Thanks Christiane.
Rhonda, I'm sure trying!

Despite the challenge of using new materials that seem to have a life of their own, this lovely work coming on beautifully. Detail to the teapot sublime. Can't wait to see how it progresses.

Deb, for what it is worth, I have adopted ALL of the Silver Black Velvet brushes as my favorites. Every size and shape comes to a perfect point, every time. Their bellies hold so much water and paint, also. Even the flat brush always come to a perfect chisel point. I am in love with them myself! This is coming along beautifully, but what else could I expect?!

Thanks so much Joan!
Susan - thanks for telling me that - I had purchased one (1"flat) in Chicago at a trade show from Karen Vernon and liked it, then ordered a few more - it's always good to find something you like (or even dislike!) and pass on the knowledge.
