FRONDS (COMPLETE???)

Here is the next stage – and possibly the finished stage??
Tell me what  you think - keep going and bring it all into focus or leave it as is?  Right now the "audience" is about half and half!
I think this will be a definite do-over no matter what!

I think it is finished, if it works this well from a distance too I'd call it done Deb, good one!

I love this stage. For my opinion you can leave it this way. Great job!

Deb, you must be cross-eyed by now. I am always amazed at your ability to do these complicated paintings. I don't know if this is the case IRL but on the computer, my eye is really drawn and held by the very light fronds in the left top side.

This is a tough decision, Deb. I like it the way it is, but I also really like the areas where you used dark colors in negative painting to really bring out the fronds. Would adding more such darks enhance the painting or take away from it....don't know. I really am a big help to you :-(

And the audience remains half and half - gee, thanks guys! (Seriously - I'll take into consideration all comments!)

Less is more, Deb.
It is finished.

Ginny may have swayed me to the "it's finished" side! It will rest for a while, then I'll decide. Until then, I'll be mooooving on!

Darn, late for class again! If I'm not too late, I vote for finished.

call it finished Deb. I love the way it came out.

Thanks Lisa (you can never be too late for class!!!) and Gary! I appreciate your comments - I'm leaning toward finished, just kind of a different look for me.

I'm leaning towards finished! Love the delicacy of the fronds that are fully finished with those touches of reddish...beautiful!!!
