GLASS BOTTLES - 9

Then I peeled off the drafting tape and miskit. I added just a tiny bit of color to the white on the window sill. Removing the miskit from the bottles makes them pop a bit more.

At this point I’m living with it.

I think it needs some more color in the white in the window and I may drip some blue in there.

The whites sure brightened these up! Now, they are translucent and sparkly. This is another great one for you.

Susan, Christiane and Vicki - thanks for the votes of confidence! I think I may do more to this before I call it complete.
Susan - I sure hope those tornadoes were no where close to you or any of your loved ones.

This is a gorgeous piece! You're very thorough with the step-by-step process, too, which is greatly appreciated. Its so helpful to know how other artists go about creating. I love the reflections you made! And the details around the window frame... Oh! and the shadows! It's wonderfully done, Deb! Congratulations!

No Deb, I live in the desert southwest. I do have quite a few cousins in Oklahoma, though. I have heard that they are all fine, so that is good. My dad was born in Paul's Valley, OK and I know that was in this storm's direct path for awhile. I have spent time on vacations in these areas and feel so badly that this friendly area of the country was hit. I hurt for all those affected so horribly by this storm.
