YELLOW LILIES - FINALLY!

Here are the lilies – FINALLY!  They are finished as far as I’m concerned.
I did a value study (forgot to photo it, but I did really follow it for the violets).
Then I added darks in the rest of the centers, and added a violet for my darker areas as indicated in the value study, then let some of the violet run off the edges.

It looks free-flowing and beautiful - love the tart greens and the red edges :) Happy Mother's Day!

I really like how you added the darks. That touch of violet on the left-hand side is perfect!

Congratulations on the Georgia Art Show. I just saw it at the corner of your blog and hope I didn't miss something-but Congratualtions.
Nice painting. Love the yellows and still how you maintained the greens without loosing those yellows. Interesting about the Shaker houses. I sure love hearing about restoration rather than demolition when it come to things like this.
It is not snowing today. Did off and on again yesterday but this morning was clear and calm and a heavy frost over everything. But there is a yellow round object in the sky that I recognize as the sun.
